How do I get my money back for a terrible hotel room?

I stayed at the Manhattan Broadway Hotel in New York last week. My room didn’t have the following things listed to be in every hotel room when I reserved it: alarm clock radio, armoire, and ironing board. The bathroom door didn’t close and the maids turned off the air conditioning in my room during the day. It was a terrible deal. Is there any way I can complain to the hotel and get my money back?
