Michael Huerta, who was thrust into the job of acting chief of the Federal Aviation Administration following the arrest of the agency’s leader on drunk driving charges, has been nominated to head the agency.

        TSA regrets ‘discomfort’ of elderly fliers


        The Transportation Security Administration has apologized for the actions of some airport screeners, and that its officers did not follow standard procedures when they asked to see a colostomy device on one woman and put another woman's back brace through an X-ray machine. But the agency stands by its earlier statements that neither woman was strip searched or asked to remove any clothing.

Considered a founding father of CIA, he served as its first legislative counsel and first curator of its Historical Intelligence Collection. A legendary figure in the study and teaching of intelligence, his legacy—books, papers, artifacts, and, most important of all, an unsurpassed devotion to the profession—lives on at the Agency.

                  A Look Back … First CIA-Military Command Relationship Agreement


                  March 10, 2011 – In order to protect the nation, military forces and intelligence organizations must work together and share information, especially during times of war. To designate clearer lines of authority and responsibility between the Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. military during wartime—a problem that caused significant tensions during World War II and much of the Korean War—the Agency entered a Command Relationship Agreement (CRA) with the Department of Defense on January 27, 1953.
